Hawaii Launches New Special Invoice Payment System

New Service Helps Charitable Organizations Pay Invoices Online

The State of Hawaii Tax & Charities Division launched a new Special Invoice Payment System at invoice.ehawaii.gov/charity/login.html, August 22, 2018. Charitable organizations have had the ability to pay annual renewal fees online for several years. However, special fees including prohibited practice penalties and other administrative fines were paid via paper check. With this new mobile-friendly service organizations can now pay these special fees online.

Online payment is quick and easy through the user-friendly interface. Completing transactions is simple — organizations enter their invoice number on the invoicing system and pay online with a credit card or electronic check. Paying online saves time and eliminates paper.

The state agency also benefits from this service as they can easily generate custom invoices and the invoices are emailed immediately to the organization via the online system. This streamlines the workflow and makes invoicing much faster.

The Hawaii Tax & Charities Division created the Special Invoice Payment System in partnership with Hawaii Information Consortium, the official Internet Portal Manager of eHawaii.gov.
